Data Systems Decadal Survey Site

OVERVIEW

Science Data Systems in the Decadal Survey Era
The NASA Earth Science Data Systems Program sponsored a kick-off workshop to plan for the Earth Science data "system of systems" architecture strategy when these Decadal Survey missions are operational. Earth science researchers and data users will expect seamless access and easy access to and usability of multiple data streams from Decadal Survey Missions, other operating missions, and current and heritage data held in EOSDIS. The challenge is to meet these expectations by moving forward in an way that will allow affiliated researchers and communities to best further Earth System Science and applied use for societal benefit.
